We specialise in education so safeguarding and vetting is an essential part of what we do everyday. It is an area where there is no margin for error, which is why we give it the highest priority in our business and are meticulous and systematic in our implementation of policies and routines.
Unlike some recruitment companies, we have a dedicated in-house Compliance Team who operate independently of our recruitment consultants and whose sole purpose is to ensure that our rigorous safeguarding policies and procedures are not only followed, but are compliant with statutory requirements and updated regularly.
We ensure our processes and service enable our clients to satisfy their obligations under legislation or guidance notes such as the DfE’s ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’. We also go beyond our own obligations in terms of the specific checks we carry out to ensure thorough due diligence. We believe in complete transparency, so will keep you informed throughout the recruitment process as to the status and results of a candidate's vetting and screening checks.
As a business, we understand the need for clarity with regard to the information we hold on file to ensure we fulfil our client’s requirements, as well as our constant aim to exceed them.
Our candidates are subject to the following checks as part of our recruitment process:
Although we follow our own stringent process, we are flexible in our approach and are happy to incorporate specific checks you may require.
“As a large and successful further education college the vetting & screening of our employees is something we take very seriously. Because of this it is important that our partners also take a similar view.”
"Having worked with Boston Rose since 2006 we are confident in their ability to ensure all vetting checks are completed to a high standard. The entire process with Boston Rose is extremely stringent , with all information and updates communicated at regular points throughout the recruitment process.
Boston Rose carry out all necessary documentation checks including DBS, right to work, certification of skills and qualifications, two relevant references and where needed they adhere to any special requests that we require.
Overall we are happy with their level of care and attention and would happily recommend their services to any training provider."
